The Mattress Factory.
The Mattress Factory, a tall, fractured building hiding amoung the streets of the North Side, is a fabulous display of contemporary installation art. Every exhibit provides a room-sized environment and all are created by in-residence artists. Carnegie Musuem of Natural History.
Carnegie Museum of Natural History houses the magnificent
T-rex, life-size arctic scenes, and real eygptian mummies. Its one of the six largest natural history museums in the nation, and has been world renowned for its Hall of Dinosaurs. This hall, acurately called the "home of the dinosaurs," has more publicly displayed fossils than anywhere else in the world. The Gem & Mineral display also demands quite a bit of attention with its magnificent, and notably famous, stones.

Carnegie Museum of Art.
The CMOA is a contemporary palace of classic artwork. It has a distinguished collection of art, including French Impressionists like Monét, van Gogh, and Cézanne. The Hall of Architecture & Sculpture, arguably the most impressive space in all of Carnegie's four museums, contains the largest collection of plaster casts of architectural masterpieces in America. Phipps Conservatory.
This bontanical utopia offers all the wonders of the natural world. Its seasonal flower shows and gardens are housed in over 15 gorgeous greenhouse rooms and atriums. Glass skylights sweep over the exotic flowers, winding paths, and serene statues.
